What Nintendo DSi console has to offer
In early April, people across the Western Hemisphere, is lined up to get the Nintendo DSi, the third and final version of the Nintendo DS. The hand held game console is very similar to its predecessor, the Nintendo DS Lite, but the new features of the Nintendo DSi become a big improvement.
One of the most popular additions for the Nintendo DSi is the addition of two cameras. Located within hinged front of the player, and the other is in the outer layer. These cameras may seem unnecessary right now, but future games for the system can include the movement and recognition Face to expand the game, in addition to using custom images as photos of a character profile. As technology develops, the cameras become so important for the game and when the controller is now.
The photos you take can be stored in another new addition to the Nintendo DSi, the hidden SD card slot. Propagation AAC audio, and can be used to store the downloaded applications DSi Shop. The applications range from games to useful tools such as furniture Binder, which allowed to take notes and keep them stored for later.
The DSi Shop is like the Wii Shop Channel on the Nintendo Wii. Use dots, called Nintendo Points (formerly Wii Points) to "buy" and download applications. Applications range in value from 200 to 800. Applications worth 800 points are called "Premium." In addition, any unit of Nintendo DSi which has access to DSi Shop before March 2010 will receive 1000 Nintendo Points for free.
There have been some changes in physical parameters of the Nintendo DSi, too. The hand held game console 12% thinner than the Nintendo DS Lite and the speakers have been improved. The screens are slightly larger, and have five brightness levels instead of the four available on the Nintendo DS Lite. The power switch has also been replaced by the button Power, who also serves as a "reset" for the system. Players can now change the game or return to the main menu without Shut down system game.
A deletion between the Nintendo DS Lite and the DSi Nintendo is the Nintendo Game Boy Advance game slot. The Nintendo DSi is not compatible with versions earlier as the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite and the Nintendo DSi is not compatible with additions such as the handle used to play Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades, RumblePak and Nintendo DS. Many people, however, believe that this removal is far less important than the benefits of the additions of the hand game console.
